Cathal Sean Hayden
an Irish fiddle and banjo player of note. He was born on 13 July 1963, in the village of the Rock, County Tyrone in an area immersed in traditional music.
Andy McGann
The son of Sligo immigrants to New York, for a wave of younger fiddle players, particularly in the U.S., McGann’s music helped fire a passionate love affair with the fascinating and now much-studied Sligo style.
The Gloaming
The Gloaming is a contemporary Irish/American music group, formed in 2011 by musicians Martin Hayes, Dennis Cahill, Iarla Ó Lionáird, Caoimhin Ó Raghallaigh, Thomas Bartlett. They have made two studio albums, The Gloaming and The Gloaming 2.
Kevin Burke
An Irish master fiddler considered one of the finest living Irish fiddlers. For nearly four decades he has been at the forefront of Irish traditional music and Celtic music, performing and recording with the seminal groups The Bothy Band, Patrick Street, and the Celtic Fiddle Festival.
Liz Carroll
an Irish-American fiddler and composer. She is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts' National Heritage Fellowship Award. Carroll and collaborator Irish guitarist John Doyle were nominated for a Grammy Award in 2010.
